India Won the ICC World Cup - Some Stats

First off all, congratulations to Team India for winning the ICC World Cup - 2011 and keeping their promise that they will win the world cup for Sachin.

Now because we won the cup I wanted to share may status. Even if we lost then also I would have shared the status.

  1. Sachin's first world cup appearance was in 1992. In that 
  2. world cup, we could not enter into semi-finals also.
  3. In 1996 we entered into semis, but lost to Sri Lanka. 
  4. In 1999, we could not enter into semis.
  5. In 2003, we entered into Finals but lost to Australia.
  6. In 2007, we could not enter into the next level.
  7. In 2011, we are the Champions.

    So as per the sequence, we won the cup.

    With this, do you think we will enter into next level or semis?
